I am so thankful for people's words in my previous post. I knew I was not alone, but it's still good to hear of others' experiences, we all seem to have high achieving friends, or dreams that haven't quite come to fruition yet. There really is such a scarcity of jobs out there in the sort of fields I am interested in- one finds mostly either volunteer/internship roles or senior, managerial positions. Of course those that do crop up will attract a huge amount of attention. One of my closest friends said to me- do something that makes you happy every day. It sounds simple, but I suppose when you're in your dead end job, wishing for it to be home time all the time, a little bit of joy goes a long way, whether it be baking a cake on a monday, writing a poem on a tuesday, or going to the cinema on a wednesday.. I shall of course keep looking and hoping also. Yesterday's fun time was watching America's Next Top Model (even the boy is into it). The light in our lounge doesn't work though so it is impossible to read or write or paint. Today's mission: to get it fixed!
I found these clogs in Topshop marked down to £15 which I thought quite the bargain, even if I cannot walk far in them.. skirt and coat also Topshop, Breton top from H n M, both belts vintage.
