I just can't wait to be King

This is another top I picked up in Berlin's H n M, and I haven't seen it here yet (but then I've only been to 1 or 2 H n M's since). It reminds me of The Lion King, no bad thing. I just thought the print was too pretty to miss, even though it's the exact same shape top as the bird print one.
These are shiny shorts or culottes I'm wearing, not a skirt. I bought them at The Vintage Fair which in the end was very, very hot and crowded. Nice idea to hold a fair amongst the bowling lanes but it's all cramped passages and lack of lighting- arty but not great for browsing if you actually want to see items, and not fall onto someone's cocktail. I also bought a lacey top, so it wasn't all a loss.

I'm going for another mock interview this Thursday, I feel I need all the practice I can get. And after that, fingers crossed.
I'm off to play a game of Monopoly with my boyfriend, because we clearly know how to spend our Tuesday nights.

  2. oh my, that is one gorgeous top! It reminds me of Christopher Kane SS10 Resort, some of the pieces were sunsets similar to this. I really hope it comes to Britain! xx

    and your shoes look a bit amazing! I really want to go to a vintage fair, but i think i would have got fed up if it was as busy as you said it was! I like shopping when I have time to ponder about things haha!

  9. Well I didn't win and it annoyed me no end too! The boyfriend did the predictable thing of getting both Park Lane and Mayfair and putting a few houses on them :(

  15. You look gorgeous! And oh, it really has been too long since I've played Monopoly! I always get impatient and never finish.

    I would most definitely recommend getting a tattoo if you really want one! I'd wanted mine for ages and finally just did it-- impulsive and everything! I figure that, someday, even if I decide I don't love it (which I don't see happening), I will still be able to look at it and see the courage it took me to get it. And it doesn't hurt badly one bit!

    ps- luxury tax on the side walk lol i wonder if anyone has ever proposed to their girlfriend their saying that they couldn't afford a ring ;) ?
