The rain in Spain
I can be a bridesmaid too with my old Glastonbury flower garland, right? Especially with my Primark dress. Oh, and distinct lack of any make up.
D is off camping with his charming brothers and a couple of their friends. I only hope they don't get thrown off the camp site, knowing them. D rather rudely rang about 2 minutes to 11 so I had to shush him up to watch the ceremony, of course. I'm no royalist but interesting to watch all the same, mainly to see everyone's frocks (and George Osborne looking very bored).
On other news I think I've decided on my next course of action, once I leave this underpaid job complete with charming bosses who undervalue their staff and don't believe in statutory sick pay (and nonchalantly think they can pay us on Saturday when pay day should have been yesterday). I'm looking to do a Leonardo scheme internship, hopefully in Barcelona. The scheme lets Europeans travel to another country and finds them an internship- some of them pay for your flights there, insurance and accommodation, and some of the positions are paid or you get spending money. (There isn't a catch as far as I'm aware...). I would be keen to do one for an NGO or charity, or do some sort of e-marketing, writing articles type thing. Watch this space.
Anyway, I am off to Spain tonight until Tuesday night, Malaga then Cordoba, as one of my friends is teaching out there. Checked the weather forecast and it's supposed to rain...
