Top and Skirt: H n M//Shoes: Vintage//Bag: Dorothy Perkins

That is exactly what my mum said (several times) as she took these pictures. Luckily the heath is large enough for no one to have been within ear shot at the time..
Sorry this is a bit of a picture heavy post but thought I'd post a few photos from Hampstead Cemetery (which is actually more in Fortune Green)- there are some famous people buried there but it's a lot quieter than Highgate Cemetery, and very peaceful. Hard to believe you're in central London there, it's so huge! And there's a little glade where you can pick blackberries, so yesterday I made an apple and blackberry crumble, and the apples were from a garden, so a cheap dessert to make all round.
It's my first day at the volunteering place (Casa Latina), slightly nervous. I will probably be the only English person there- haven't spoken Spanish properly since leaving uni (two years ago). Arghdfffk.

PS: Giveaway coming soon.

  1. Stunning photos of grave angels, that's some really lovely stone masonry!
Hope your first day goes fine, I'm sure you'll do well :) The thing with languages is that even if you haven't spoken one for a while you tend to get right back into it when immersed amongst those speaking it.

  10. Blackberry and apple crumble has to be one of my favourite 'comfort' puddings, especially when the ingredients have been foraged. Great print on your top - very seasonally appropriate as it looks as though the birdies are just about to head off on migration!

the cemetery looks cool and bit scary though, but it's much better than cemetery in my place.

  12. I remember picking blackberries as a kid and stuffing my face with them! It was by a main road so my mom wasn't very pleased as she said the blackberries were probably poluted by all the car fumes! But they were delicious!

That top is lovely, what a charming pattern! Enjoy your first day too, hope it goes well!
