And now for something completely different

Jumper: Gap (men's, shrunk in the wash, D's loss, my gain)//Trousers: New Look//Boots & Coat: Topshop//Bag: Mulberry//Necklace: Urban Outfitters

After all the delicate pastels, it's time for something different. We snapped these in the dark, hence the flash (and deer caught in the headlights look).

My mum is coming back from France on Sunday, so very much looking forward to seeing her, as well as all the French bits and pieces she is bringing me back (shampoo, shower gel, chestnut jam and cheese since you ask).

  5. Rachel this is a brilliant outfit - the lipstick, the jacket, the trousers, the boots. All the individual pieces look as though they belong together :-)

  8. I can understand your frustration, the longer she debates whether she will leave or not the longer you are left feeling stressed out and having to handle much more than you do already!

Taking photos at night time added a bit of something different indeed and I like it :) you don't look like a deer caught in headlights at all, you look lovely :). I love the coat and the shoes :) xx

  15. I love this look on you! It's so different but you look amazing! Those trousers look lovely with your boots.
Your lips look incredible too in that light - you should really give purple lips a go!
That’s rubbish about your workload. I know if I am off there is no one to cover my work so I just come back to millions of things - I guess if the girl might leave though it leaves you in such an awkward place! Hope it gets sorted soon.
So jealous you are getting treats back from France. My flatmate was there last week and brought me back some cheese - I've been eating it everyday since. xx

Your colleauge sounds like a bit of a nightmare, I hope you're not left with all her work for too long anyway or they get someone in to cover. More stress isn't what anyone wants. Enjoy your stay with your mother, oh and the sweet gifts! HELLS YES, CHEESE! Could it get much better than that!? xxx

Ohh are you excited to see your mum? I'm so envious of the cheeeeese! Ummm and chestnut jam?! That sounds amazing! Tell me more! <3 <3xxxx
