I love how black and white and colour give such a different atmosphere to photos. This cemetery looks pretty spooky in the former, but sunny and pleasant (as pleasant as a grave yard can be) in the latter.

My visit to the school was very interesting, but none of us really recovered from waking up at 5.30 am and not having lunch until 1pm. The kids were great to be around as we got to observe a couple of classes and chat to them <3

These photos are from yesterday, and a trip to a cemetery with Tach (thanks for the photos of me), followed by a visit to Primark on Oxford Street which was so heaving with people we left without buying anything (probably just as well), then a Pimms in Hyde Park.

Really looking forward to LDNlunch now. I'll be the awkward one in the corner.

PS: Nail wraps are still faring pretty well, just a little ragged round the edges. I'm quite impressed with their staying power.

  1. Fabulous photos lovely, especially the first shot - you're working vintage-pretty-edgy-but-macabre well :-) It might sound sinister but graveyards are often such beautiful places!

  24. Oh dam - I just put my lace top on ebay and now I really want to keep it! It looks amazing over the dress - not sure why I never thought of that! (I might take it off as I'm sure it will sell for £1 or something)
Sounds like you had a lovely day - I avoid Primark on a Saturday at all costs! Pimms in Hyde Park sounds so much better. xx

  25. Ace look! I'm really into layering tops and dresses together at the moment too - anything to help towards the British cold! I love that you took the photos in a cemetery; at the risk of sounding morbid, I love walking through them and finding out snippets of past people's lives, and some of the grave stones are so beautiful. 47. Ahh! Everything about your outfit is perfection! I know I always say that but this one is especially lovely. There is a quietness about cemetaries that I rather enjoy, despite their obvious spook factor. Your letter is on it's way as well dearest!
