Top: Primark//Suede Skirt: Topshop//Boots: Topshop//Hat: Topshop//Necklace: Little Nell

Pretty terrible photos I know, but it's raining outside. I don't know how some bloggers find such perfectly lit and plain white backgrounds to take photos against, I literally don't have an area of wall that isn't filled with something.

I had my hair cut and styled yesterday evening at the Toni and Guy Blow Out Bar at Somerset House. I was given a scalp massage and got to play around on their iPads, as well as listen to some self important bloggers chit chat (...). So big thank you to Toni and Guy! I think it looks rather nice ( and my hair smells lovely, for now ).
I met with D after and we went to Wahaca for dinner, and today we went out for brunch. Thus until pay day, hibernation is called for (well, apart from going out tonight and three nights next week, ahem).

I think I'm getting a little too into the pastel trend, although both this top and skirt are old but I hadn't thought about pairing them together. I may also have bought some peach coloured jeans, but that's for another day...

PS: I've protected my tweets but feel free to add me on there. It's to stop inquisitive work colleagues finding my blog (and weirdos).

  2. Ohhh that top is just perfect. I've always wanted to try bowler hats but I have such a big head I don't think I'd find one to fit me! You look lovely :) x

  4. Your hair looks amazing - and reminds me I need a haircut!

I have the same problem with locations for photos - my room is so cluttered, the only plain white thing is the door! x

  9. Aww your top is so pretty, I went to primark today but I couldn't find anything like it! I love your hair too, it looks very nice! With regards to the good lighting and plain white background, I guess you could stick a sheet on the walls and do it that way? I think some bloggers do that but when I tried the sheet wasn't fitted tight enough and you could plainly work out that it was a sheet in the photos. I like where you take your photos anyway :) xx

    1. Thanks <3 It's quite an old top from Primark, I never usually find anything good there! Good idea with the sheet, I may try it although yes I can imagine if you don't get it tight enough it's a bit of a problem! xo

  10. You are really lovely in that shade of pastels. The contrast of blue and pink is delicious.
Here is easy to shoot outside, it hasn´t rain all winter. Today we were over 20ºc and very sunny.
Estamos deseosos de nubes y algo de lluvia, porque la verdad es que hasta lo bueno cansa y aburre, jejejejje.

  11. That's the reason I don't have twitter, well use it. I would like to use it more often but the fact of people find my blog who I see everyday makes me feel weird! Haha Maybe one day. :P

You look so beautiful! That hat is awesome, you have some cool hats. Your home looks so sweet too, I always admire it when you post it. I remember when you revamped your stairs, great skillz miss!

I'm quite reluctant to tell friends work colleagues about my log and i'm not really sure why!

  14. Haha, yeah, I don't know how those bloggers get such beautiful indoor shots! Our house is the same. There isn't an inch of wall space that isn't covered with photos or some sort of nick knack.
But wow, I love the pastel combination! And peach jeans? Oooh, can't wait to see those. Aha, really love your top, it's so pretty <3

  15. I love the blue of that top! I too have no idea about how some people have perfect white studio like walls. The closest I have is the cream wall at the end of the gally kitchen and i'm sure no one needs to see all our cupboards or pans!

  17. The amount of times I have tried to set up a photoshoot where I can pose in my new clothes, but then stopped because the background and lighting has been so awful! I don't know how some bloggers do it?

Looking good though, sucha nice Primark find! I don't know how some people do it I can never find ANYTHING nice in Primark!!

  20. What a gorgeous colour combination, pretty in pastels <3

I know what you mean about photo locations - our flat has some decent earthquake damage so theres cracks in pretty much every wall :(

  22. I adore your entire outfit dearest! I have a huge thing for pastelas as well, especially since spring is just around the corner over here. My wardrobe consiste of either dark neutrals (brown, navy, black, grey, etc) or soft girly pastels. No inbetween haha. Your hair looks lovely as well, I just got quite brave and chopped all mine off into an extremely short pixie cut, it will take some getting used to since my hair was passed my bellybutton, but it's rather nice not to have to do anything to it in the morning.

  26. very very cute outfit! and yes, my walls are all cluttered as well except for one in the hallway, but it's a lot of cropping and strategic posing to get it to look clean and fresh :D
