Queens Parade in Willesden Green had long been vacant- no longer. New Windows on Willesden Green secured a "meanwhile" lease for 13 businesses and projects to try out their ideas, events and activities. This includes Art Lobby, an art gallery, Roses and String (homewares and accessories as featured above), The Wise Owl, a music and cinema venue, Vintage Green (featured above) and many others. If you happen to be in the area (I'm not sure why anyone would happen to be in Willy G as it is affectionately known by some, but anyway), definitely pop in. It's refreshing to see something like this in an area of London that doesn't really have much going for it (apart from a library and quite a good butchers). I couldn't walk away without this mirror (sneaky peak of my new curtains there too).

    1. We were taken with that necklace too, but £32 is quite a lot of money to part with (and more than my mirror cost!) x x

  10. What a brilliant way to encourage new and creative businesses, I wish more places would take the initiative and do something similar as to my mind a shop full of loveliness for a short time is infinitely better than boarded windows!

  18. Oooh that's a lush mirror! And I really like the dress that's reflected in it too, haha! I wish I had more pretty stuff in my home, but I'm reluctant to invest in things as I'll likely be moving out within the next year, boo. x
