Sailor dress: Pop// Sunglasses: Urban Outfitters//Espadrilles: From Seville

So it seems I can look quite moody on a Saturday morning (last Saturday I hasten to add, not the day after tomorrow). This is only the second outing for the sailor dress/matron's uniform ( I still feel I look a little matronly in it ) and it wasn't even sunny until we left the park.
I'm now writing the rest of this post from sunny France (37 degrees), although the weather is supposed to get worse from tomorrow as I thought it might. Off to a night market tonight, tomorrow is an amazing lunch at a restaurant (details will follow, though probably not Instagram pics, I think that might be frowned upon in rural France) and hopefully I will fit in a visit to the huge thrift warehouse where blouses and dresses are no more than €3..

  9. What a fun dress. I don't think you look at all matronly. I love the little dip in the white lines at the waist; I think that added bit keeps it young and fun.

  22. Those sunnies are lush! And I love the sailor dress. The sun is still strong here in the UK... yet France does sound pretty appealing. Enjoy. xx

  30. Oh so so soooo jealous you are in France! You are going to look so Parisian and quirky in this Pop dress number though. Gotta love navy. And how have I only just come across your blog now? I absolutely love it. You obviously have a lovely sense of style.

  32. That is a cuuuute dress and looks very vintage. I had a favorite dress back in the late 60's a lot like it but it was white with red and blue details. I wore the thing out!

  33. You are KILLIN' it in these photos Rachel! You are so very beautiful <3 <3

I hope you are having a most glorious time in France! (the land of my ancestors!) I love France but it seems to hate me- the last time i was there in my teens me and my pals accidently befriended some loutish french (unknown to us at the time) notourious criminals/drug dealers! And then later on in the night we almost got arrested by the police thanks to our new found friends who decided to start causing illegal commotions in the street :( we only just managed to talk our way out of being taken to the police station O_O.

Hmm anyway my grandma-ing is over for the night and i shall leave you (and your comment section!) in peace hehe <3 <3
