Dress: Topshop//Coat: Asos//Belt: My mum's//kitty flats: Missguided

I had a little day out in Canterbury on Wednesday, which was a very nice way to break up the week. We nearly didn't make the train (I don't often go to St Pancras but our platform was hardly sign posted at all!), it was a quick journey though. Once there we started with Early Grey (for me) and an Americano (for him)- I can't remember the name of this place but it was lovely (middle picture with the tea)- the florist came and put those fresh purple flowers down whilst we were sitting there. We visited an old hospital and the Greyfriars, had a five course taster menu and walked around the Cathedral, to the sound of the choir practising. It only rained a little, so all in all, a grand day out.

  21. WAAAH! I love this. I saw your comment on the Tea Drinking English Rose about Barcelona (where I currently live and write about on my blog www.thecafecat.blogspot.com) and came over to say hi and then see you have posted about Canterbury. I used to live there, too! In fact, I worked in the cafe in your last pic.

Small world. Isn't it pretty? I hope you tried the victoria sponge at Tiny Tim's- it's INCREDIBLE... Plus, if you want somewhere else cool to visit in the area you should get the train from Victoria to Chilham where Badger's Hill Farm is. It's just wonderful. The Tea Drinking Rose wrote an article about it and I used to work there- it's a farm, an amazing homeware shop AND they do great cakes, teas and ploughmans. The village nearby is great, too.

Anyway, hello from your new follower! xxx
