These pictures are from last weekend! I had a very nice wander over the Heath though I really wasn't wearing appropriate shoes. I bought this cardigan a few months ago in Topshop- generally I avoid their knitwear as it's a bit too pricey, but this one is perfectly oversized and great for wrapping up in.

Work has been fairly hectic this week- lots of helping out other colleagues, meetings and phone calls. Although I enjoy the environment I work in and being part of a charity, I'm at the stage of yearning for something else, but I'm quite undecided as to what this will be. My manager is all for supporting me and letting me shadow someone in a different department for example, but I still can't figure out where I want to go, or what I want to do. Answers on a postcard.

  4. I find Topshop knitwear very expensive too, but that does look really cosy!
I'm also stuck in a bit of [well, major] rut with my job, having been in the same job for 8 years. Like you I have no idea what I'd like to do. Makes it so hard! Hopefully we will both find something soon. xx

  25. Oh man, that dress is so cool. I wish USA had a TopShop. I'm sure there's one somewhere like LA or NYC. Maybe not, I have no idea.

Sorry about your job situation. I HATED my last job as a public librarian and I started working as a school librarian in August and I hated it for a while too, but now it's pretty cool. Jobs are jobs, you just need to find something tolerable lol. Good luck :)

  29. Cosy cardigans! Some mentalist wrote the other day 'Men hate feminists. AND cardigans.'
What utter craziness. Cardigans are a girl's best friend. And that's that! Xxxx

  31. Awwh you look so cosy babe. :)

I have the same problem jobwise. I do adore my job but have no idea what to do in the long run. I think shadowing other people would be a good plan, you'd get to see another side to the workplace & maybe get some inspiration? xx

  38. Rachel! Just catching up on your blog for the first time in ages! Was nice to have a backog of outfits to look through though :) Love the dress, you pull it off so well. Ahh I'm in a massive in-between stage career-wise too, working in a shop is most definitely NOT what I want to do forever haha. I'm interested in working in charity though, it's good that you have a foot in the door as it's a pretty hard industry to break into I believe?

  39. How completely perfect is that dress?! I really love how creatively you've layered your outfit here. Topshop does have some of the prettiest knitwear around. All around beautiful location darling gal! Very best wishes with your job and finding a path that you truly love <3 Marisa
