Kipferl- Camden Passage
Coat: c/o Motel//Jumper: Topshop//Dress (as skirt): c/o French Connection//Boots: Topshop
I'm back from Copenhagen! It was cold, it was expensive, some Danes were nice, some were less nice. I bought a neon beanie. I will regale you with tales of my travels in a future post, when I've sorted out my photos.
For now, these are from today when my mother and I visited Kipferl, an Austrian cafe and kitchen on Camden Passage in Angel. Yes another jaunt from the Tea & Cake book, but one that was a little nostalgic journey for my mum (my grandparents were from Vienna), who got to speak German to the staff. I'd definitely recommend it- there's more to the menu than sauerkraut and sausages if that's not your cup of (Earl Grey) tea. The cakes alone are worth a visit, the Austrians really do know how to make amazing ones.
And a slight nod to the monochrome trend with this little French Connection number kindly sent to me last week. It's still too cold to wear it without a jumper over the top but hopefully it works..
