You know nothing, Jon Snow

Coat: Charity shop// Shirt: Topshop Boutique//Jeans: Topshop Joni//Flats: UO//Necklace: old Topshop (it has paint flecks on now)

I think you can sort of see in these photos- I've had a proper haircut! (first one since last June ) However as per the hairdresser took too much off (I can't do a proper top knot anymore, boo) and laughed at me for having such dry hair and split ends. I know lady, that is why I am there. It sadly hasn't resolved the fact that my hair often gets really static and flyaway- anyone know how to solve that?! I've bought some Aussie products and some hair oil to help, but I still can't see to get away from that annoying static-ness (when I stroke my cat he gets the static too).

Apart from static hair, D and I have finally been getting into The Killing (Danish version bien sur), about three years after everyone else. It is pretty addictive but quite drawn out. We've also welcomed back Game of Thrones with open arms (and more really, King of the North come. here. now.) and next week Mad Men is back too. Basically there's no leaving the house, which is fine as the weather is so terrible anyway.

  1. I get static hair too! Would love to know of what to do to resolve it. It's so annoying! If you find out please let me know :)
I really like your shirt - beautiful print/texture. xx

  2. You look loverly, as per. And your hair is looking wonderful and very healthy at the ends :) My hairdresser always takes the piss out of my split ends too and then chops loads off - which is why I hate going, and why I end up with so many split ends! I can't recommend much for your hair because mine is a frizzy mess, but apparently sleeping with it wet makes it more static?

  3. Love your necklace :)
Cor, it's so annoying when hairdressers do that - don't do what you want and laugh at your hair quality that is.

  16. I have the exact same problem with my hair, it drives me bananas! I've given my cat an electric shock before from the amount of static I've got going through me!

  17. A Game of Thrones title and I'm hooked with this post haha! The first episode kind of disappointed me though, like...nothing happened. I'm just waiting for Daenerys to start shouting "where. are. my. DRAGONS?!" again, those are my favorite parts haha. also, the best way to stop those static-y fly-aways is to run a fabric softener cloth through your hair. i know it sounds weird but it stops all the static in a synch!

  18. Re the static/flyaway hair issue, running a dryer sheet down your hair really works! If you don't fancy that, just make sure you conditioner your hair after washing, using hair products which 'weigh down' the hair helps, a hair oil also helps eliminate static and also not having man made fibres near your hair will cut down on that flyaway business. At the moment as well, it is very dry and windy out and this doesn't help with static, so if you could change the weather that would help, in fact it would help all of us!!

  20. Looking lovely, like always! Your hair is looking pretty too, I haven't been to the hairdressers for about 2 years, I always end up cutting it dodgy myself and then feel too ashamed to go and get it sorted haha xxx

  24. I truly can't wait for Mad Men to come back on. I've heard really good things about The Killing...I'm sure it's another show I would become addicted too, which is dangerous..hehe.

Your hair looks gorgeous. I love the ombre in it. And of course your camel coat with the navy and black ensemble is perfectly classic and very lovely!

  28. I always think your hair looks fab so ignore her! Although I'm the same, I don't get my hair cut for yonks as I want it to grow then I get told of by the stylist as they're trying to tame my dry lions mane!
Love the shirt, sad at the fact its topshop boutique and way out of my price range at the moment!

  29. Wow you got that coat from a charity shop? I am immensely jealous of your thrifting skills! Although, as much as I wish I did need coats, it barely ever gets cold enough here in Western Australia to justify buying one, unfortunately.

I heard about the wintery weather you're still experiencing. Where I am it is STILL hot, I would gladly swap places with you haha. But I do hope Spring arrives soon enough for you :)

I love your new haircut, you're looking very chic!
